England played very well even though had chances to score more goals. Also dominated throughout in the match. Overall I believe England is a better side who can dream of winning the world cup.

A match that needs to be won

On Thursday, England should win with a convincing margin to clear away the scepticism about the team's performance. Rooney is playing and that will make a huge difference. Like the previous match, there should be a goal in the first 10 minutes to destroy the confidence of the opponents!

England was very lucky to have won this match. The heat in the pitch was incredible. I think it might have affected on the players! Anyway 3 points are very valuable.

Argentina played okay, but the Ivory coast was not bad. I think, the Argentina should have got the first goal because the Ivory coast goalkeeper crossed the line!

It was indeed a pleasure to finish work in the morning. I slept until 3 pm. Then the much awaited football! The German team was disappointing in my opinion. The Polish team was crap!
Tomorrow is the England match. Let us see what is going to happen. Rooney should not play in this match, I would say. He should take rest and give enough time to heal the fracture. He can play in the important matches only.
